A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Putnam is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He also holds degrees in history from Harvard College and University College, Oxford. Mr. Putnam has taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, but has devoted the majority of his career to private practice, specializing in appellate litigation.
